When God created Adam and Eve, He instilled a free will in their innermost being. God gave them advice, not to mention giving them the opportunity to believe Him or to choose their own way. God did not force them to follow His instructions, as they both made conscious decisions—they chose the latter and ate (we now suffer those consequences).

We are all capable of making rational, intelligent decisions on our own: God could have created programmed robots, but instead has given us minds to use. We can choose to constantly avoid God, or we can choose to be submissive to Him. We can take God at His Word by placing our faith in everything Christ did for us at Calvary, or we can reject it and suffer the consequences. Either choose eternal condemnation in hell, or choose eternal life in heaven.

When the lost unbelieving world stands before God in eternity, they will be there because of their unbelief in God’s Word. They chose to ignore His Word and scoff at it, time and time again. God presented them with truth, but they scorned It every time. “Christ tasted death for every man” (Hebrews 2:9). Every single person reading this has an opportunity to be cleansed from their sins. I present the only two choices: (1) you can believe and trust entirely in the Grace Gospel of 1 Corinthians 15:1-4: “Christ died for our sins, His blood was shed, He was buried, and He rose again,” or (2) you can do things your own way.

Consider what God said in Proverbs 14:12: “There is a way which seemeth right unto man [like meriting favor and working for salvation], but the end thereof is death [going to hell].” You can be defiant towards God, like the majority of the world, and be sent to eternal doom, or you can you come to God by way of the cross, as a lost sinner in dire need of precious salvation, being eternally forgiven all your sins. How amazing! I cannot force you, so you will have to do this out of your own volition. You choose. (I strongly encourage you to follow the advice of the omniscient God.

We are all without excuse, as we have all heard God’s truth numerous times (Romans 1:20; Titus 2:11,12).
