In light of Scripture, the signs of the end times of the present Church Age are recognizable. Following is a prophetic warning by the Apostle Peter concerning the appearing of false teachers in his era, applying to the present latter days as these conditions only get worst before the Lord returns.

Peter wrote: “There shall be false teachers among you who privily [secretly] shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them. And many shall follow their pernicious [destructive] ways by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned [faked] words make merchandise of you” (II Peter 2:1-3). Paul’s epistle to the Corinthians states that Satan is “the god of this world” (II Cor. 4:4)

This nation, founded on Biblical principles, is constantly being buffeted and challenged. America is probably the last bastion and defender of Biblical truths. Thanking God there are still just laws remaining in force that enable citizens to live in a free society to express our views on any issue. One of our founding fathers, Thomas Jefferson, and others, emphasized it was imperative for the people of a nation to have free exercise of speech in order to remain free. And now, enemies of Christ that come to America are facilitated — emboldened with these privileges to engage in activities which are destroying this country.

Imagine, freedoms granted by our own Constitution that, in essence, allow political forums for those who seek to harm us and even religious denominations with flawed theologies and philosophies to vent their heresies and undermine these freedoms. They come to this country knowing they will not be greeted with a ticking device or a poisoned cup. So, they continue to load up the Trojan horse almost unimpeded to spread their political and blasphemous religious and secular humanistic beliefs.

Even in recent times some came to America for publicity to the world community and some to receive their coveted earthly awards and accolades with red carpet treatment. 
When Bible-believing Christians object and intervene in an attempt to safeguard Biblical doctrines and values, these hideous destroyers and their supporters scream, whine, wail, engage in name-calling, ridicule and show open hostility and hatred because their poor golden calf has been gored. But, of course, by their standards, the Bible-believing Christians are the bigots. 


Evidently, their mentality is one of censorship when it disagrees with their twisted teachings and philosophies. The adversary, Satan, that ole devil himself, doesn’t want discussions on Biblical texts to take place; because, in that process, the truth of Scripture will come forth and some might be convicted by the Holy Spirit to believe on the simplicity of salvation through faith by the saving gospel of Christ of the Scriptures, and cause him to lose one of his deceived followers. Bible-believing Christians can rejoice to be labeled idiots for Christ, rather than fools for the devil. The rewards for the genuine Christians are out of this world.
