The Bible is Not Nonsense

Even before the Word of God was written in human languages, the devil attacked anything that God said. In Genesis 3:1, Satan (in the visible form of a snake) beguiled the first woman, Eve, by placing doubt in her mind. The devil asked, “Did God really say that you could not eat of that tree?” Eve did not even remember what God actually said (Genesis 2:16,17 cf. Genesis 3:3). God said nothing about touching the tree; He merely said, “Thou shalt not eat of it.”

But, why is the devil so fixated on attacking the Word of God? Every single statement in the Bible is 100 percent accurate and truthful, and the “father of lies” (the devil; John 8:44) can only promote deception by first distorting the truth. In order for us to distinguish the truth from the lies, the truth must first be established. The truth has already been confirmed in the Word of God, giving us the means to distinguish the deception from the truth.

Even to the present day, the devil is still twisting and wresting Scripture by either adding apocryphal books or bringing in “better” newer translations that only “water down and paraphrase” God’s Word. (By the way, if all English translations say the same thing, why do we need all of these English translations?)

Why is most of our world lost and unlearned in the Bible? The devil has hidden the glorious Gospel of the Grace of God (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) from them, so they remain in spiritual darkness (2 Corinthians 4:3,4). Why is there so much confusion amongst church members? It is a satanic ploy to make confusion of Scripture, to deter everyone from studying their Bible. If no one understands the Bible, they most certainly will not be interested in reading it. Satan keeps the masses in complete darkness, but everyone will have at least one chance to be presented with the truth.

The devil’s lies are infiltrating our society right now, but if you stay in the true Word of God, you will not be led astray as so many have already been. I use the Authorized King James Version (66 books), which is a reliable 400-year-old translation. The so-called “Elizabethan English” is not as difficult to read as most have been led to believe: “If thou truly art in search of the truth, the Lord God shall reveal His Word to thee.”
